Introduction!

Hello, everyone! My name is Hayfa Ghassani Rahmat. You can call me Aya, because that's how everyone calls me, lol.
I knew my full name and my nickname don't sound alike at all. But this is gonna be a way too long introduction if I tell you the reason behind it. Let's save that topic for later! ;)

I'm 16 years old. I was born on 23rd February 2002. I live in Bandung, Indonesia. I'm currently a second year in Three Senior High School (Oh my gosh I can't believe I'm already this old, time flies so fast).

There are five people in my family including me. There's my father, my mother, and my two little brothers.

By the way, I have a lot of hobbies.
My hobbies are reading (I LOVE HORROR AND THRILLER NOVELS!), writing some stories, drawing, and listening to music. I also enjoy watching japanese animation called anime. I really love it! My love for anime made me want to know more about Japan and its culture. So, i joined the Japanese Club in my school.

I love playing music instruments! I could play the piano, the guitar, and drums. But I love the drums more.
I honestly don't know why.
It's just, I really enjoy the feeling when I hold the wooden stick tightly, and hit the drums as hard as I can. It's calming and satisfying. At least for me. Heheheh.

I joined many bands when I was a first year. But they fell apart one by one until there's only one band left. It's my current band right now. It's called 'Siren'.
By the way, Siren is a sea-creature, a myth. Sirens are human-eating mermaids, and they lure out their prey with their beautiful voices.
Scary. It's a good thing they're not exist.
But ... are they?

My position in the band is the drummer, of course. The rest of the members are college students, so we can't held practices frequently. They're really busy.

Anyway, my last hobby is definitely weird.
I love, love, love sleeping.
I could sleep real fast.
No matter what time, place, condition, or my position is, I could sleep if I felt extremely tired.
I've slept while standing more than three times. I've slept while waiting for my food at the McDonald's, slept while lining up to buy some tickets at the cinema, and the most dangerous of all, slept while swimming.

Hold up, I also don't know how I did that, so don't ask me. Fortunately, my brother woke me up in frustration and disbelief. Of course he weirded out!
What kind of human could fell asleep inside a pool? Furthermore, while swimming?
Thank God I didn't end up drowning and dying.

Okay, enough with my hobbies.
Don't you guys curious about my dream?
No?
Whatever, I'll tell you anyway! Lol.
Honestly, my dream job isn't related to any of my hobbies and it's quite laughable.
Well, maybe it's related with my one and only favorite subject in school, biology.

My dream job is to be a doctor.
I really want to be a doctor!
I want to help people with my strength.
But the main reason why I want it,
is because I want to help my family.
I will try hard to achieve my dream, so wish me luck, okay?

I think that's all from me (for now).
I wish all of you will be able to achieve your dream, whoever you are, and whatever your dream is, as long as it's a good thing!

See you later!
Bye now^^

Bioluminescence  is the production and emission of light by a living organism. Usually it is produced by algal blooms. An algal bloom or algae bloom is a rapid increase or accumulation in the population of algae in freshwater or marine water systems, and is recognized by the discoloration in the water from their pigments. The blooms carry and support millions of the bioluminescent dinoflagellates. Bioluminescence is used by dinoflagellates as a defense mechanism to escape predators. Bioluminescence can really only be seen in the darkness, so you have to be in a light free zone to witness it. The plankton light up whenever they are disturbed, though only for a moment. The greater the disturbance, the brighter the glow — boats typically create the most intense effects. Bioluminescence occurs through a chemical reaction that produces light energy within an organism's body. For a reaction to occur, a species must contain luciferin, a molecule that, when it reacts with o...

Analyzing Active and Passive Voice from An Article

Is it actually healthy to stop eating red meat? By Claire Maldarelli  October 12, 2017 We all hear about how bad red meat is for both the planet’s health and our own. Planet-wise, there’s no argument: The detrimental effects of greenhouse gases from livestock production on the earth’s atmosphere can’t be overlooked. So, for the month of October, members of the PopSci staff are abstaining from all forms of red meat (#NoRedOctober) for the sake of the environment, and, by extension, for our own good. We have to live here, after all. It’s in our best interest to minimize the cow farts. The health implications of eating red meat are a little more nuanced. On the one hand, numerous studies over the years showed that an over consumption of red meat isn’t the greatest for our bodies. The meat is often rich in fat and cholesterol, and an increase in both has been associated with numerous health conditions like heart disease and diabetes. Other studies have also found that its over c...
